Luxury Asset Lenders is the network side of our platform. This page explains who actually originates a collateral loan against a watch, a diamond, a painting, gold or a collector car, how an inquiry is matched to the right licensed partner, and what every partner is expected to do before a client signs anything.
Most people assume the website they found is the lender. Here it is not, and you should know exactly who does what before you hand anyone a valuable piece.
We publish guidance, take your first inquiry and route it. We hold no lending license and set no loan terms.
A California-licensed pawnbroker or lending partner examines the asset in person, writes the offer, signs the loan agreement and holds the collateral. Rates, terms and the final decision are theirs.
That read of the market is what the partner lends against.
You see the written terms before anything is signed. Accept them, ask questions, or leave with your asset. Nothing is final until you sign with the lender.
A Patek Philippe reference and a GIA-graded stone are not appraised at the same desk. An inquiry goes to the partner with real depth in that category.
Box and papers, grading reports, auction provenance and vehicle titles change how a partner can lend. Whatever you send us goes ahead of you, so the appraisal starts informed.
These are the expectations we set for partners who receive inquiries from our sites. If something on this list does not happen in your appraisal, tell us.
Photos produce an indicative range only. The offer comes after the asset has been examined by the lender.
Loan amount, term, renewal options and every charge are written out for you before you sign.
The originating lender keeps the collateral for the life of the loan and returns it when the loan is repaid.
The decision rests on the piece, its condition and its market.
Licensed lenders and specialist dealers who want to talk about working with the network can write to hi@luxuryassetlenders.com with their license details and the asset categories they cover. How we are paid is public: Luxury Asset Lenders may earn referral compensation from lender partners, as set out on our disclosures page.
Send the asset, a few photos and any paperwork. We route it to the partner who lends in that category, and you hear back with an indicative range and next steps. No obligation.
